In this full-day workshop, students will learn how to unlock creativity, write without judgment, and explore the endless possibilities in their stories. Through guided instruction on the craft of writing as well as mindfulness practices, participants will learn how to avoid roadblocks that get in the way of their writing. This workshop is for those who have not considered themselves a writer before, while also providing keen insights into the craft for seasoned writers. Re-energize your mind and your writing and take your writing to the next level!
Elizabeth Mack’s motivational approach to instruction has her teaching in high demand. She believes every person has a writer within, and we all have a story to tell.
Elizabeth holds a BFA in Creative Writing and an MA in English with an emphasis in Creative Nonfiction Writing. She teaches Creative Nonfiction Writing at The University of Nebraska at Omaha. Elizabeth’s writing has been published in a variety of regional, literary and academic publications. She maintains the blog, WritingCenterUnderground.wordpress.com for Metro Community College’s Writing Centers, as well as her own popular blog, AgingAppropriately.wordpress.com.
