Simplifying the Art of Business Blogging is designed to teach the basics of blogging for a business including:

Jamie Smith of Jamie’s Notebook gives companies and organizations “a voice with the written word.” Her mission is to help businesses and organizations discover and express their passion and purpose through the content they produce.

Jamie has become well-known in Northwest Arkansas for her ability to create content that informs, inspires and enlightens. Her business and writing expertise is often sought through one-on-one consulting, as well as when she leads seminars for various organizations.

Jamie’s career in words began in 2000 when she graduated from John Brown University with a degree in journalism. She worked as a full-time reporter in Oklahoma then Benton County until being laid off in 2010. It was then that she started her business, Jamie’s Notebook. She also wrote for many local publications, including Talk Business (formerly The City Wire for several years as a freelance contributor. After testing many options, she realized her niche and passion is copywriting for businesses and organizations with an emphasis on online communications.

She lives in Elkins with her husband. They enjoy playing with their four furkids (two dogs and two cats), testing new recipes, and seeing what’s new on Netflix.
